    Price Drop for 360?

    Reports from the States are saying that a price drop for the Xbox 360 is imminent especially with E3 looming very close (July 15 - July 17). The current figure being thrown about is $50 if only to compete with the Nintendo Wii and the PS3 which has gained a lot of ground since release. Whether or not the price drop happens is anyone's guess and whether the price drop will make its way to our shores remains to be seen.

    PS2 Titles for the PS Store?

    Latest rumour from the mill suggests that Sony are going to start selling PS2 titles their PS Store in the same manner that they already PS1 titles from. The following snapshot was taken by an employee at Sony Studios London. The biggest hurdle to overcome would be the massive backwards compatibility issue as earlier PS3's had this built in but the current PS3's do not.     More Resident Evil Movies??

    News today that apparently the latest Resident Evil movie may not be the last if director, Paul W.S. Anderson has anything to do with it. In a recent interview, he was quoted as saying, "I’m just starting to talk to Sony about it, I don’t even know if anything will come of it, but there’s a possibility it might happen." Let's just hope he actually develops a story first and runs it past the RE community before committing any more atrocities in the name of the almighty Hollywood dollar...

    XMB Update for PS3

    The latest firmware update from Sony for the PS3 will finally be giving gamers what they've been yearning for, the ability to use the XMB (CrossMediaBar) in game very similar to what Xbox 360 owners have been able to do with their blade system. The update will be made available from July 2nd and will bring your PS3's firmware up to version 2.40. For a demonstration, head on over to the US Playstation blog.

    Megaman Wiiware

    Just a quick note to bring gamers up to speed with the recent news that the latest Megaman title was going to be cross platform as reported by some Aussie publications.
