No jokes...what you're seeing here is Condemned 2 advertised in a catalogue for JB Hi Fi, a very popular provider of music, dvd's and games, with an R rating. Surely a mistake has been made as well know there is no R classification for games in Australia. Funnily enough, the sticker is legit and is from the OFLC themselves but it just equates to nothing more than a catalogue designer thinking the game was worthy of the rating and justly rating it himself?

They of the expert opinion, the Associated Press, have jumped on the Wiiware bandwagon with not a lot of kind words about Nintendo's new download service. They do however give props to both XBLA and PSN for having a "consistent supply of fresh software." They also agree in unison that none of the launch titles are as exciting or engaging as say Geometry Wars or Puzzle Quest. Oh dear...well give Nintendo a chance we say. They rarely disappoint and I don't think they're about...

Score for the little man over in New Zealand. Despite the Kiwi nation having an R rating for video games, the OFLC still felt they had reason to slap the game with a censorship hand preventing the full release of the carnage mash 'em up. Well, you have to hand it to retailer Stan Calif who is also the owner of First Games, a video games store in NZ. Mr. Calif took it upon himself to cough up and pay the $NZ 1400 ($AU 1130) to the OFLC for them to classify the unedited version of the game. The...

There's been tons of speculation and heaps of arguments over whether or not this Metal Gear Solid for the PS3 would mark the last in the series. Well the answer is yes and no. It will more than likely mark the end of Solid Snake closing the chapter on of the sneakiest and most famous operatives in video game history but the door will open for Konami to introduce a new character to take over the mantle. Producer, Ryan Penton speaking to MTV Mutiplayer had the following to say, "I think there...

Recent rumours from over at Eurogamer were suggesting that Ubisoft might be going back to the drawing board and completely redesigning the Splinter Cell franchise. Absolutely untrue says Ubisoft in response to another report found in Xbox World 360 stating that the SC series had been outdated by Assassin's Creed. What we do know is that the latest game in the franchise being developed now making it the fifth title will be stripping Sam Fisher of his trademark weapons and high tech spying gadgets...

News today that action packed title for the PS3, Haze, won't be shipping with native Full HD built in. Instead, the developers have left the PS3 to upscale the 576p definition to an HD resolution. Creative lead, Derek Littlewood over at Ripten had the following to say, “We prioritise a nice smooth frame-rate over a different [resolution], personally, I don’t really buy the whole thing. People did the same with Call of Duty, they did the same with Halo, and they say with those games ‘It’s not...

Well they are according to Greenpeace, those tireless activists for a greener planet amongst other things. They recently pulled apart a few controllers from various consoles and what they found was mildly disturbing. What they've found are elements in the controllers that can "interfere with sexual development in mammals: including humans and, especially, males." As is being a gamer and trying to woo the opposite sex wasn't hard enough but now we could actually be shooting ourselves...

Sampled what Nintendo has on offer for the Wiiware launch in Oz but unsure if you want to splash out the bucks for Dr. Mario & Germ Buster? Well, apparently there's a way to get a demo of said game by following these instructions. First of all, you have to know someone who's paid for and downloaded the game in the first place. After that it's a simple case of the owner of the game sending the demo to anyone in their Friend's list. Pretty cool...this doesn't mean that you circumvent...
