A few hours ago, we ran a story about the new trailer for Metal Gear Solid 4. What we can now show is the how the trailer has changed from what was going to be originally released. Have a look at the pics below which clearly show what we're talking about. The changes aren't just limited to graphical upgrades but in some instances the scene has been changed altogether.

Nintendo have announced and posted the first tournament for Mario Kart on the Wii console. It consists of a Time Trial around Mario Circuit where at the completition of the race, you can upload your fastest time to take the crown. You can enter as many times as you like so you can keep trying to best the gamer at the top of the leaderboard. Our fastest time so far is in the area of 1 minute, 50 seconds or thereabouts but we'll keep trying until we can get in the 40's. Get into it now and...

Time magazine holds an annual poll where the public can determine who they believe Person of the Year honours should go to. Well, the votes are in and have been counted and it's none other than Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto who takes pole position according to readers. Sequel to pants wettingly scary, F.E.A.R., Project Origin looks set to be every bit as atmospheric as the first title was, way back on PC and then later on consoles. Just to show you what we mean, we've posted a swag of screenshots from the title still in development for Xbox 360 and PS3 and let's just say...it's very bloody! Namcom Bandai's next title due for release is a remake of classic gorefest, Splatterhouse and this version looks set to continue the tradition established by its predeccesor, judging by the exclusive screenshot below. Here's hoping for God of War mechanics for the gameplay ;)

Footage below shows a would thief apprehended stealing or trying to steal, GTA IV and a bunch of other games in the USA. Of course, the journos take the whole, "the game was the driving influence" line...this is a grown man who knew what he was doing...are these reporters stupid or what? I think I just answered my own question there.

News today revealed that retro giant, the Rubik's Cube will be digitised in the form of a game for the Nintendo DS and the Wii.
