News today of new firmware for Sony's PSP going to be available soon. The update will address the following issues: when playing PSOne games, you'll have the ability to customise your button layout when deactivating the PS3 Remote Play function, you'll be able to leave your PS3 running or switch it off remotely. This last one is useful if you want to continue a download without switching off the PS3 when you disconnect the remote session.

Must be the season for movie to game adaptations as another one is DS bound, this time it's the iron clad flying wonder, Iron Man. Pretty slick trailer below with some great action and very smooth framerate despite the hectic action on screen. Not looking too bad at all, we'll see if the story and the rest of the gameplay is up to par later on!

Sources from Nintendo Europe have squashed recent rumours that a price drop for the Nintendo Wii was on the cards and would be anniunced very shortly. We can positively deny these reports and confirm that there will be no price drop forthcoming. There will be a Mario Kart bundle for Europeans but that's about it. Why would you drop the price when it's completely sold out and difficult to get anywhere??
