    Mafia 2 Whacks Xbox 360

Wannabe wiseguy GTA clone, Mafia, did good business on PC and the first Xbox when released. Well now the 360 gets to don some smart suits and go around collecting protection monet with the news that Mafia 2 is bound its way. The gameplay takes place in the late 40's/early 50's era where there was action a plenty, the story will also drag you screaming into the story with a tearing narrative that adds suspense and melodrama. Look for it around 2009...long ways, we know.

Fans of Death Gods and fighting anime, Bleach (like myself) will be ecstatic to hear that a third game has been commissioned for the Nintendo DS by Sega. Titled Bleach The 3rd Phantom, it follows in the now familiar but never tired formula, of the beat 'em up with an awesome amount of flair thrown in for good measure and with a new 3rd person isometric view. Hopefully this won't ruin the franchise ala some of the early Spyro the Dragon titles but if you're a fan of Bleach, you probably...

    N-Gage Reborn

Because failing 2 or 3 times is never enough for Finnish mobile phone giant, Nokia, today they announced plans to go ahead and launch their N-Gage mobile gaming platform anyways. Think of it as their mobile version of Xbox Live or the PSN except their platform will have the spiffy name of First Access which is currently in beta testing in preparation for the full launch sometime very soon in the future. Question is...does anybody still care??
