Lego Indy Cracks His Whip On PSP

Lego have always been great for console gaming and the handheld market is no different. Swinging his way onto the Sony PSP is Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. The title will be based on the three Indy movies to date so you know you're in for a good time and ride filled with heaps of action. The new movie doesn't get a mention but with so much to take in, believe me, you won't even realise.

    DLC For Wii Fit Channel

Games Designer Shigeru Miyamoto went on record recently saying that updates to the Wii Fit channel may be on the cards by way of nutritional information updating the data. This information could then be used by the overweight set to help shed some of those unwanted kilos to increase longevity for the title. Funnily enough, Shiggy said the game came about when he was concerned with his own weight a few years back. Connectivity with the DS is also a possibility and may be a feature yet to be implemented...

    DS Keeps Breaking Records

Just when you thought the Nintendo DS had done all it could do, news has come out of Japan that the humble little portable has surpassed the 100 million units of software sold since going on sale. The amazing accomplishment was achieved in only 3 years and 5 months which, as a comparison, it took the PS2 4 years and 3 months to reach the same milestone. Not bad at all :)

Fans of upcoming action PS3 title, Hazy, will be able to get their freak on soon with a downloadable demo courtesy of the PSN. The demo will be very generous and allow up to 4 players that can drop in, drop out. That function is extremely popular in the majority of multiplater games, as well, the demo will be bringing you a slice of the single player portion part of the game. The title is being developed by Free Radical, they of Timeplitters fame and should be out late May.

The trailer has some wicked action and shows what Tony Stark, the man in the suit, is capable of. The animation is extremely fluid and the action plentiful, this may turn out to be one of the better adaptations. The PS3 demo will be...

    PSN Cards Make An Appearance

Sony have started supplying retailers with what they call the Playstation Card. This is to be used instead of a credit card if you're underage and will be used to make purchases through the Playstation Store. They come in different dollar amounts and in the USA, you can pick one up wherever you refuel which is handy. No word yet as to whether these cards will come over to our fair shores but one would think that it's only a matter of time.

Saints Row 2 Shows Off New Weapons

In one of the zaniest weapons to ever appear in any game, Saints Row 2 will feature electric shock paddles. You know the ones, we've all seen them on tv a thousand times when doctors are trying to revive someone from the brink of death. Only in this case, the paddles will be used to take an opponent to the brink and more than likely right over the edge. The trailer also shows off some of the locations where the game's action will be taking place. The trailer plays out as a documentary enticing...

Atlus last year released a little gem of a title called Izuna which had the quirky take of a ninja who gets the sack after her boss believes that ninjas have become obsolete! The sequel will offer more of the same but with a more developed combat system and more options for the role playing segments embedded in the game. The official press release is below and the trailer showing off the battle system...
