Japan have had it for years with some absolutely mind blowing goodies and extras which we've had to go without unfortunately and eye very enviously but not anymore. Mario Kart Wii will ship with a card inside with a code and an exclusive invitation to join the club. Every Nintendo purchase that you make will net you Nintendo points which you can then exchange...

Frontier's Managing Director, David Walsh, said today that he felt Wiiware was the perfect vehicle tp push boundaries and explore uncharted territory. "The opportunity to be a launch title on the service was too good to pass up, it doesn't take a commercial genius to work out that it is a good idea with the number of Wii's that there are in the world." He was also fairly nonplussed about the fact that tradtionally Woo owners aren't big downloaders of digital content as with...

In a fit of bizarre news for today, Germany wants to have demo kiosks shut down during school hours as they feel that too many students are taking time off to play these kiosks and it's starting to impact on the studies. Shutting these down is the answer?? For real?? Politicians believe that this will help juvenile delinquency behaviour and curtail violent crimes.

Harking back to the days of the PS2 Network, news revealed today show that the upcoming Metal Gear Online experience will require gamers to register and use a different Konami online ID different to their online ID currently used on the PS3 network. This process is mandatory unfortunately and won't be able to be skipped on in any way. The ID used by Konami has been used many times in other applications but it's the first time it's been used outside of Japan. You can speed up the process...

New title for Wiiware bound called Pop looks and sounds like it might be one of the better party games going round. It involves a screen of bubbles floating up towards the top of the screen and the players have to pop them with their wiimotes. There is also a timer counting down so the urgency to pop the balloons and keep the game going will keep everyone on their toes. Pop the wrong coloured balloons and the timer will automatically subtract 3 seconds from the time. As you can see, it wouldn't...

Shooter fans alike will be pleased to hear that a Haze demo will be made available for download from the PSN early next month. The demo will be of a multiplayer variety and allow you to take the action online with human team mates. The mode will be campaign and co-op for up to 4 players, not bad for a demo. Either way, the game will be hitting shelves late May/early June.

After much internet talk and the rumour mill going into overdrive this week regarding the supposed announcement of a redesign for the DS, Nintendo has finally come forward and quashed all rumour mongers and flatly denied that there is a redesign on the cards. There were talks from various industry people that a redesign or something other would be announced at E3 by Nintendo but apparently not. The DS Lite is here to stay...for the time being anyways.
