Nothing major to report but there will be an update to the Wii's firmware, in fact I just checked and my Wii slot is glowing sexy blue, the update will consist of unseen to us change that will optimise the way things are run in the background. Maybe it's changes to the way the Wii will play online, could be an optimisation to the code for better connections? Either way, the update will bring your Wii to Version 3.2. Take it or leave it.

As one of the last tidbits of info to emerge from thes year's GDC, Nintendo has just claimed top honours for the Developer's Choice Award. With 3 nominations up their sleeves, Nintendo took it out with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I think some people were feeling that they should have won all three but better to leave with something than to leave empty handed!!
