With the impending release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on PS3 in the next couple of days, we though we'd take an introspective at the series as whole just to see how far it's come starting with the video below and over the next few posts. This video focuses on Metal Gear from way back in '87 on the MSX2, NES, PC MS-DOS (that's right!), C-64 and in later years on both mobile phones and the PS2 title, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. Metal Gear: Snake's Revenge in '90 on NES and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake also from '90 on MSX.
