Sometime in June is the tentative date announced by Sony Sony for the release of the new firmware for their PS3 console. This will take your PS3 up to version 2.40 and one of the major changed revealed will be the ability to access the XMB during in game action very much like the Xbox 360's blade system that you can access while playing a game. This is a feature that has sorely been missing from the PS3's menu system and it was extremely lacking when you were trying to add a friend or just send a message in game. You would have to exit the game just to do that, well it looks like PS3 owners' prayers have finally been answered.
