Niko Demands More!!

Bad enough that character, Niko Bellic from Rockstar's latest opus GTA IV is continually getting shafted and feeling like he's mot much loved, but today comes the news that the real life voice actor, Michael Hollick is demanding more money for his voice services and the motion capture work he did for the face. A New York Times article is saying that Mr. Hollick apparently only got paid, in comparative terms,  a measly $100,000 for his services. Michael is putting the blame for this stuff up at the feet of the union that represents him and his industry saying, "The first GTA IV trailer generated something like 40 million hits online, and that’s my voice all over it, and I get nothing, if that were a radio spot, I would have. Same thing for the TV ads.”

He is however still clearly seeing that it isn't Rockstar who is at fault by coming back with, “I don’t blame Rockstar. I blame our union for not having the agreements in place to protect the creative people who drive the sales of these games.”

Hear, hear...let's hope he doesn't go postal and start sniping people if he doesn't get what he wants...
