Recent rumours from over at Eurogamer were suggesting that Ubisoft might be going back to the drawing board and completely redesigning the Splinter Cell franchise. Absolutely untrue says Ubisoft in response to another report found in Xbox World 360 stating that the SC series had been outdated by Assassin's Creed. What we do know is that the latest game in the franchise being developed now making it the fifth title will be stripping Sam Fisher of his trademark weapons and high tech spying gadgets and have him rely on the stealthy skills that made him the uber agent he is today.
