News today that action packed title for the PS3, Haze, won't be shipping with native Full HD built in. Instead, the developers have left the PS3 to upscale the 576p definition to an HD resolution.
Creative lead, Derek Littlewood over at Ripten had the following to say,
“We prioritise a nice smooth frame-rate over a different [resolution], personally, I don’t really buy the whole thing. People did the same with Call of Duty, they did the same with Halo, and they say with those games ‘It’s not running at true HD!’ And it’s like, ‘I don’t care.’ If the game looks good and it runs smoothly, those are the important things to me.”
The important things to him?? To bad he's not the customer, now isn't it?? Let's just all make games based on what the developers want instead of what the buying public craves for? Pfft...ludicrous...on top of that, the game will require a 4GB installation. Double ludicrous...
