Sega Studio Wins a Reprieve

We recently reported that Sega had chosen to close the doors on its racing arm based in the UK, Sega Racing Studio, seems like another developer in the form of Codemasters have a vested interest in the studio. They've given the studio a gold ticket and purchased it meaning that now Sega can work closely on some of Codemaster's signature franchise series' like Colin McRae and Race Driver, for example.

Codemaster's CEO, Rod Cousens, had the following statement, "In seizing this opportunity, we have created additional resources to escalate our plans in the racing segment, we hope to welcome more than 40 people to the company.”
