New York City is set to host Comic-Con next week which is exciting enough but to add even more fuel to the fires, there is speculation that this is the event that director/producer John Woo will use to announce his involvement with the much rumoured Metroid movie. The movie is supposed to be starring Kristanna Loken last seen in the Bloodrayne movie and in HBO's runaway success series, The L Word (we're big fans of this show and never miss an episode!) Apparently John Woo bought the movie rights back in 2004 but since then nothing has been heard of regarding the project. There's a supposed movie poster doing the rounds which we've included below, very grainy and very fake looking but it does have a date of "5.02.09" on it. So we'll wait and see what happens after Comic-Con, we'll let you know if there any announcements regarding this.
