Japanese PS3 Passes the 2 Million Mark

Reported lately in this fine publication was the news that the PSP was doing great business in Japan due to Monster Hunter being released bunping up sales. Well, the Blu-ray behemoth, the PS3 has now finally passed the 2 million mark in Japan making it another good week for Sony. The PSP managed to sell another 121,000 units thanks to Monster Hunter which also passed the 1.5 million milestone despite been on sale for only 2 weeks. The Nintendo DS sold 55,000 units while the Wii dropped slightly with 44,600 units. What on Earth is happening with Nintendo over there at the moment? Is their reign coming to an end??
