Figures from the Land of the Rising Sun show that from Jan 28th to Feb 24th, Sony managed to shift 89,131 PS3 units and 38,648 PS2s with the surprising dark horse being the handheld, the PSP which somehow managed to push out 223,570 units. This was only a smidge under the DS Lite sales which means that Sony now have a 24% market share in hardware sales only outdone by Nintendo's DS Lite's 24.8 % and the Wii's 35.7%.
