Fans waiting for Far Cry 2 on the Xbox 360 can whet their appetite with these couple of tech demos. We thought they weren't much chop until we had a look at them. The first one is of a pistol shooting at a tree which doesn't sound very exciting but it's amazing to see the level of detail being show when you start seeing branches falling off and then the time lapse kicks in and show the tree regenerating. Pretty cool. The second video is of the scenery changing from night into day and back again. The sunrise has been rendered pretty well and the shadow actually get longer as the sun begins to set. That's attention to detail.
