Ascaron Entertainment had the hype machine in full effect when they showcased their latest title, Sacred 2, at GDC. Sacred 2 will be available both on PC and Xbox 360. Sacred is a RPG with a style leaning towards Diablo 2, another landmark title on PC. You'll explore in excess of 140 dungeons while you level up and take on quests of varying tasks. The demo shown looked standard as far as RPG games go with the bottom of the screen showing your character's attributes and skills as you become stronger and more powerful. The game is looking very lush and graphically, it's what we've come to expect these days on PC and the 360. The NPC's react differently depending what time of the day it is. Always a nice touch. Of course the Australian Release date is TBA...typical :)
