News of a Biohazard 0 release for the Nintendo Wii had us all excited until a Capcom Europe Rep stated, "We currently have no plans to bring the Wii version of Resident Evil 0 [...] to either US or Europe at this point in time. It will most likely be a Japan-only release." WTF??? Why do they do stuff like this to gamers?? Maybe importing a copy is the only option?

Apparently all is not well over at Activision HQ, shareholders are reported to be not happy with the Blizzard-Activision merger as they believe their interests have not been met. Holy Toledo, what next? Now it's being revealed that the Tokyo-based Hitachi Display and Osaka-based Sharp Corp. have been investigated by the Japan Fair Trade Commission over allegations that both parties have been indulging in a little antitrust violation regarding the screens used in the Nintendo DS. Just when things looked like they were making a step in the right direction for gamers and the issue of the rating system, specifically an R rating for games, this tidbit of info has ben leaked out, "The Attorney-General remains very firmly opposed to introducing an R rating for computer games in Australia ,” - South Australian Attorney General Michael Atkinson’s office. What a crock of BS...will they ever learn and get it right already??

And now for a spot of news that we didn't know about (ahem), the Nintendo Wii is outselling the Sony Playstation 3 at a rate of 4 to 1 in the land of the Rising Sun. Just to giive you a comparison, in Japan the PS3 had sold 89,131 units until Feb 24 while the Wii has sold a staggering 331,627 units. The PS3 has consistently been beaten by the Wii since launch day and even though they're low, they're not as low as the sales for the Xbox 360. The hype for Super Smash Bros. Brawl continued...

Just a last minute post for today...just came across this game and had to post about it. The game evokes memories of a shooter from the Sega Dreamcast era which I never got a chance to play but either way this game looks like a load of fun with hectic gameplay.
